Privacy Policy
ArchiMind is built for architects who work with sensitive project data. We collect only what is necessary, we do not sell your data, and we give you clear controls over what we retain.
Effective date: April 27, 2026
1. Who We Are
ARCHIMIND, INC., a California corporation, operates the platform at www.archimindcbc.com and the Autodesk Revit add-in. Privacy questions may be directed to info@archimindcbc.com. Mailing address: 27525 Puerta Real Ste 300-313, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
2. Information We Collect
2a. Information you provide
- Account information: Name, email address, and password (managed by Clerk authentication).
- Payment information: Billing details processed by Stripe. ArchiMind does not store full credit card numbers.
- Uploaded floor plans: PDF architectural drawings uploaded through the web application.
- Revit model geometry: The Revit add-in extracts and transmits room names, room areas, door parameters, door locations, corridor connectivity, and spatial relationships from your active Revit model. Your raw .rvt model file is never uploaded — only derived geometric data is transmitted.
- Support communications: Messages you send to info@archimindcbc.com.
2b. Information collected automatically by the Revit add-in
The Revit add-in initiates the following automatic network activity from your machine:
- Update check on startup: Each time Revit loads, the add-in makes a background HTTP request to www.archimindcbc.com/installers/version.json to check for available updates. This request includes a User-Agent header identifying the ArchiMind add-in version. No model data or personal information is transmitted during this check.
- Dashboard sync after analysis: After each compliance analysis run, the add-in transmits the compliance report data (room classifications, check results, and project name) to your ArchiMind dashboard account so results are accessible in your web Project History and Project Memory. This transmission is encrypted (HTTPS) and authenticated with your account credentials.
- Local config file: The add-in reads and writes a configuration file at %APPDATA%\ArchiMind\config.json on your machine to store the dashboard URL and user preferences. This file is local to your machine and is not transmitted to ArchiMind.
2c. Information collected automatically by the web application
- Usage data: Feature usage, analysis runs, report exports, Memory queries, timestamps, and interaction logs.
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
- Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and functional cookies for preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
2d. Project Memory feature
The Project Memory feature stores all compliance analysis results across your project history and enables AI-powered natural language queries across that history ("Ask anything across all your projects"). This means compliance report data from all your past analyses is indexed and retained for the purpose of answering your queries. The same retention policy applies to Memory data as to individual project data (90 days from last analysis run). Memory queries are processed using AI services subject to the same data handling terms described in Section 4.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service including compliance analysis, dashboard sync, Project History, and Project Memory features.
- Manage your account, subscription, and license keys.
- Process payments and send billing communications.

AI model training. We will not use your uploaded drawings, Revit geometry data, or project reports to train, fine-tune, or improve AI or machine learning models without your explicit, affirmative consent.
4. AI Processing and Third-Party Services
Floor plan analysis and Project Memory queries are performed in part using third-party AI services. Your uploaded content, extracted geometric data, and compliance report data may be transmitted to AI service providers solely to provide these features. These providers operate under data processing agreements that prohibit use of your data for their own model training.
Our service providers:
- Google Cloud Platform / Supabase: Cloud infrastructure, database, and file storage.
- Stripe: Payment processing.
- Clerk: User authentication.
- Anthropic: AI language model services used for PDF floor plan analysis and Project Memory queries. Data transmitted to Anthropic is subject to our data processing agreement with Anthropic, which prohibits Anthropic from using your data for training its own models.
- Vercel: Web application hosting.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
- Uploaded files, compliance reports, and Project Memory data: Retained for 90 days following the last analysis run associated with the project, then permanently deleted. You may delete individual projects at any time from your dashboard.
- Account data: Retained for the duration of your active subscription plus 30 days following cancellation or termination.
- Billing records: Retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax and accounting law.
- Usage and update check logs: Retained for 12 months, then aggregated or deleted.
- Local config file: Stored only on your machine at %APPDATA%\ArchiMind\config.json. Deleted when you uninstall the add-in or manually remove the file.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and secure credential management. Dashboard sync transmissions from the Revit add-in are encrypted via HTTPS. We do not store raw Revit model files.
No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
